A vaguely picky artist at that... I'm looking for someone willing to do a very short comic, maybe around 24 pages? Also, character design is sort my favourite part of the art process and all, so if any writers our there have ideas for plot but not so many idea on how the characters actually look that'd be awesome. And in conjunction with that it'd probably be best if the story took place in some sort of dreamscape so if the characters wind up wearing some contraption that looks like the bastard love-child of a venus flytrap and medieval torture chamber for a helmet it won't require too much justification. Or maybe I should just offer up my DA account to see if what I draw matches what you have in mind... onecrazypirate.deviantart.com/

I can think of something, given some time. It depends, I suppose, on whether you'd rather have 4 pages a month, or just get all 20-something at once and work on it as you please.

Likewise I can think of something, but I'm curious as to what you want to draw. From your DA account it looks like you would be good at a short action or horror story.

I can also think of something, with the same caveats that these two have.

The OP sounds like something I've written and would be fine expanding upon if the artist wishes. While it's not a dreamscape, it is in my pet feudal cyberpunk setting where anything goes aesthetically. Would you like to know more?

Sorry I've been not been around. School was killing me there for a bit.
Sure, Afgan I'd be interested in hearing more, feudal cyberpunk sounds fun. Same to anyone else who may have ideas. I'm not too picky about story, my only conditions really are that I can be in charge of the physical design of the characters and that logic won't be to restricting.
As for types of stories I'm into, I'm into just about anything but "slice-of-life", I like a definite goal for the plot, but beyond that I can take any sort of story as long as it can be twisted to fit my visual style. Classic cowboy story? Sure, but the bounty-hunter is a girl who runs around in knickers and a corset with mushrooms growing out of her body, the bank-robber wears a hat that makes everyone see his face as a blank unless he takes the hat off, also he's immortal, but can't heal. That sort of freedom, the actual plot could be anything...

Again, it sounds like my style. My piece is in my other thread, which is a few threads down. It may not be the best, but adapting it this way might sort things out. I go on and on in that thread about how much freedom of design you'll have.

I was thinking of doing a one-shot dreamscape comic. But if you're working with Affy that's fine.
Let me know if you want to do another one though!

Yeah, I'm too time-crunched at the moment for two projects and Affy's seems the mot fleshed out. So if she wants to convert that to a script format I'll start working on making it into a comic.

How soon do you want the script done? Next week is going to be busy for me (finals), but I can make time whenever works best for you.

You can take your time with it really, I've also got finals (and I'm moving out of my apartment and trying to find a job) so yeah...
