We require some forum rules before we get any bigger. I suggest we make ourselves like Giant in the Playground's Forums, where the mods work to make sure everyone stays relatively nice to each other and non-antagonistic. It makes those forums a pleasure to browse- a true rarity.
So, here's my off-the-top-of-me-head list of Rules That Should Not be Violated or You'll Get the Banhammer.
Of course, the Rules themselves have Rules, those being that a first time breach of these rules results in a warning. A second breach results in temporary suspension, and a third results in a ban. Seems fair enough to me.
So, the Rules:
1.) No offensive remarks towards another person's race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender. This includes curses directed at such things in general- saying something like "the "n-word", generic cursing aimed at homosexuals, pointed invective against a religion and its practitioners, and derogatory dialogues directed towards women and/or men.
Note that since we mods are not a bunch of robots, we'll judge these calls as we see fit- if someone is obviously joking, we'll let them be.
2.) Try to maintain a pleasant tone- or, in layman's terms, don't be a troll.
3.) No spamming.
4.) No harassment through private messages or forum posts.
5.) No pornography.
Anyone think of anything else? We really, desperately need some forum rules, and now, before the site gets any bigger.

Yay! I figured we'd need rules at some point, what with me being a law student and all, so I thought it would be a good plan.
Yay!

No we do not. The only time I've ever seen goatse was in a blurry spray during a Day of Defeat free weekend and I'd prefer to keep it that way, thanks.
