You mean like starting the story over, or picking up from where the prose part left off? Both approaches could work anyways.

I think it would be rather jarring to people who start archive binging the series when it switches media. However, I think we need a few more opinions on this.

Well, Erfworld's transition from comic to text to comic seems to have gone alright. Then again, they decided to make their updates "nonessential".

Blackmoon, is there a set size/shape/file size/whatever for the comic pages? Just wondering.
And on the Medium switch, I don't think it would be too weird. Especially between prose and more visual media, the story needs to change a bit to still flow properly, so it probably won't be a complete rehash of the original story.
Then again, I'm already a bit more used to that sort of thing from contact with manga and anime, so I'm biased.

alkthash: Starting it over, but illustrated, as the writer had found an illustrator after the prose was first published. Is it worth the space?

Well that is more of a wait and see sort of thing. If our audience really wants the next installment but has to wait while it takes an art reboot they might be irritated.

I was actually thinking of writing a story as prose, then finding an artist to do a different story in the same universe that would not require knowledge of the first story.

Dec: Doesn't matter to me. A friend of mine said any vertical length for a comic page is good, but 600-700 width is a good guideline, because it cuts down on horizontal scrolling.

Blackmoon, what time do we have to send you the work?

Mine will probably be sent in a few minutes before the deadline, because I am lazy. Just so you know ahead of time.

No time in particular, but preferably before midnight on the 26th, EST, so I can put everything together.

Okay, and about the cover art. I can do something, though it'll probably be Shameless Self Promotion.

That's fine, as long as we have something.

I'll be done with The Eidolic in about twelve hours or so, I'd say. I'm stating this due to time-zones and such, so you know I'll have it ready by the deadline of... uh... today.
